About the Role

If you are hired and are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training costs. The guard training lasts 2 weeks, so you must be available to complete this and have 100% attendance during the training. Training may take place in another location.

As the position is a summer temporary job, we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-32. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a guard on a stationary security assignment, your main task is to provide security to one of our international clients by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. You will be the face of the company when working at the entrance or reception and check the people passing in and out. As a guard, patrolling is done on foot or by car, both indoors and outdoors, day and night.

You will for example:

• Conduct security checks at our client's site, for example, ensuring alarms are activated, windows are closed, etc.
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons are present among our client's operations and premises.
• In a stationary security assignment, there are various types of technical assistance depending on the client, such as alarm panels for operational alarms and fire alarms. In some security assignments, it is common to have surveillance cameras and remote control of gates and doors.

The assignments vary depending on the client.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard for our international client, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Working every other weekend is common.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

Meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have good computer skills and are comfortable working administratively
• have an approved guard training, VU1 and VU2

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
